OUR MESSAGE TO OUR DISTRICT

 

 

Friends from Ridley Hall have been visiting the neighbourhood for many years.  As a local church we have the task of making known to men, women and young people the great need of being saved.  The Bible teaches us that we are all born in sin and we sin every day.  One day we will all be called to give an account of ourselves to God.

Think of this verse from the Bible:-   “And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?”    1 Peter 4v18.

Please consider your own lives!  Your soul is your most important possession and it goes on forever. God is so Holy that he cannot look upon sin and the Bible tells us elsewhere that He “is angry with the wicked every day”, Psalm 7v11.

There is, however, a glorious answer to this.  Complete deliverance and freedom is found in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Although He was God, He came into this world as a man.  At Calvary’s Cross He became a substitute and bore the punishment of all who would believe on Him.

The Bible teaches us that if we earnestly turn to Him that He will save us.  If we truly believe on Him then we have everlasting life.

In these days of atheism this is the only answer.  The world is getting worse and worse and one day will pass away altogether.  At Ridley Hall we preach the Gospel every Sunday evening and we will be pleased to meet you.
